STOMP - Singapore Seen - Mailboxes at <b>Bukit Merah</b> block replaced <b>...</b>

STOMPer Angry Fish wants to know why the old letterboxes at Block 117 Bukit Merah Central, which were in good condition, were replaced with new ones.

Said the STOMPer:

"The letter boxes located at Block 117 Bukit Merah Central were newly installed around 2006 or 2007.

"In just 5 years these letter boxes are being replaced with a so call three way letter box.

"I noticed that the current letter boxes being used are still in very good condition.

"It is a waste of money where the Town Council spent in this way.

"I would prefer it if Town Council can save the money and translate into lower conservancy fees for us."
